Annapolis Pearl Gallery features locally hand-crafted artwork from more than a dozen local artists. Artwork includes jewelry, woodwork, acrylic and oil paintings, mixed media/collage, and fused glass. This is a cooperative gallery operated by the actual artists, who will greet you and explain how the artwork is created and provide artist backgrounds. ArtFarm Studios is Annapolis's community art school and event space, offering classes and workshops for kids and adults in a 3,200 sq ft creative space. From painting and drawing to mixed media and beyond, our fully equipped classrooms and experienced instructors make it easy to learn something new, build a skill, or just make art. Classes run year-round for ages 4 through adult, including after-school programs, figure drawing nights, drop-in workshops, and summer camps. The Annapolis Chorale, doing business as Live Arts Maryland, is a 36-year-old nonprofit arts organization whose mission is community enhancement through performing and presenting high-quality music. Each of its performing ensembles offers citizens of all ages the chance to participate in a cultural activity that adds depth and texture to the life of the community while fostering personal growth through music participation. The organization includes the Chorale, Annapolis Chamber Orchestra, Annapolis Youth Chorus, the St. Anne’s Concert Series and a broad range of educational programs for music students of all ages including the MusicWorks school partnership and an apprentice program for high-school students.

The Colonial Players offers a wide variety of dramatic productions in the heart of downtown Annapolis. Founded in 1949 by a group of Annapolitans dedicated to bringing high quality theater to what was then a very small town on the Chesapeake Bay, the theater continues to thrive with a dedicated corps of volunteers and a loyal subscriber base.
