The Colonial Players offers a wide variety of dramatic productions in the heart of downtown Annapolis. Founded in 1949 by a group of Annapolitans dedicated to bringing high quality theater to what was then a very small town on the Chesapeake Bay, the theater continues to thrive with a dedicated corps of volunteers and a loyal subscriber base. Our regular seasons have included classic, contemporary and cutting edge comedies, dramas, and musicals. Experimental theater, theater for children, works by new playwrights, one-act play festivals, workshops, talk-backs and forums, and our traditional biennial production of A Christmas Carol fulfill our mission to entertain, educate, and enrich our community through the dramatic arts.

Classic Theatre of Maryland (CTM) is Anne Arundel County's only year-round professional theatre company and a premier destination for classic theatre, Broadway musicals, and cabaret shows. Founded in 2010, CTM produces over 200 live performances annually featuring regional, New York, and Broadway guest artists. CTM presents world premiere adaptations including its acclaimed annual A Christmas Carol, educational programs, and a year-round Cabaret Series with the Unified Jazz Ensemble as its house band. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit regional theatre company serving Maryland and beyond.

The Annapolis Chorale, doing business as Live Arts Maryland, is a 36-year-old nonprofit arts organization whose mission is community enhancement through performing and presenting high-quality music. Each of its performing ensembles offers citizens of all ages the chance to participate in a cultural activity that adds depth and texture to the life of the community while fostering personal growth through music participation. The organization includes the Chorale, Annapolis Chamber Orchestra, Annapolis Youth Chorus, the St. Anne’s Concert Series and a broad range of educational programs for music students of all ages including the MusicWorks school partnership and an apprentice program for high-school students.
